Information You Provide

  • Todo Data: Tasks, notes, reminders, and other content you create within the app.
  • Google Account Information: When you choose to use Google Drive backup, we access your Google account email for authentication purposes only.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect aggregate, non-personally identifiable information about app usage, including:
    • App interactions and feature usage

Information We Do NOT Collect

How We Use Your Information

Local Data Storage

  • All your todo data is stored locally on your device.
  • The app functions completely offline and does not require an internet connection.
  • Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up.

Google Drive Backup (Optional)

  • You may optionally use Google Sign-In to authenticate with Google Drive.
  • This allows you to backup and restore your todo data to your personal Google Drive.
  • Important: We have no access to your data stored on Google Drive. The backup is encrypted and stored directly in your Google Drive account.
  • You maintain complete control over your backup data.

Analytics

  • Firebase Analytics collects aggregate, anonymized data to help us improve the app.
  • This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
  • Analytics help us understand which features are used most and identify technical issues.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We Do NOT

  • Sell your data to anyone.
  • Share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Access or view your todo data in any way.

Third-Party Services We Use

  • Google Drive API: For optional backup/restore functionality (you control this data).
  • Firebase Analytics: For aggregate usage statistics (Google).
  • Google Play In-App Billing: For processing one-time purchases.

App Permissions

Todo One requests the following permissions:

  • Notifications: To send you reminders for your tasks at scheduled times.
  • Alarms: To ensure reminders work accurately even when the app is closed.
  • Internet Access: Only used for optional Google Drive backup and Firebase Analytics.
  • Google Drive Access: Only when you choose to enable backup features.

In-App Purchases

  • Todo One offers a one-time purchase to unlock the full version.
  • Three pricing tiers are available for your convenience.
  • This is a lifetime purchase with no recurring subscriptions.
  • Purchases are processed through Google Play's secure payment system.
  • We do not collect or store your payment information.

Data Export and Portability

  • You can export all your data to a JSON file at any time.
  • Exported files can be imported back into the app.
  • This gives you complete control and ownership of your data.

Data Security

  • Your data is stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms.
  • Google Drive backups are transmitted using secure, encrypted connections.
  • We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

Todo One does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age.

Ad-Free Experience

Todo One is completely ad-free. We do not display advertisements or work with advertising networks.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Use the app without creating an account.
  • Delete all your data by uninstalling the app.
  • Export your data at any time.
  • Choose whether to enable Google Drive backup.
  • Disable analytics through your device settings (Android > Settings > Google > Ads).

Data Retention

  • Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
  • Google Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.
  • We do not retain any of your personal data on our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
  • Notify you through the app if there are significant changes.
  • Continue to protect your data in accordance with this policy.
